Personally I'd go for the SIP. We've got one at work and it's over 10 years and never missed a beat. Plus the spec shows that it's a good all round compressor.

I've got a slightly smaller (150L) SIP one (biggest i could get in my car at the time!!!) and it's never caused me any issues.

Think the rule with compressors is go for the one that gives the best Free air delivery.

Also depends on what you will actually be using it for?

Just spraying than no issues.  big air use air tools then its a different matter?

Have ordered the sip along with a new regulator, die grinder and new hose. Won't be using anything too heavy on air consumption

Woah they only have 3hp motors? Id thought theyd be more. I have tiny compressor that has only 25 litre tank and that has a 2.5 hp motor. In fact im looking at connecting up a secondary tank around 100 litres for better Cfm for the impact gun.just means itl be take longer to fill when depleted
