I hope that jack is not on the slinging bracket. That is not a jacking point and will distort the floor.

The car looks straight but will need some work but will be worth it in the end.

As sonik says, that isn't no jacking point:O

Jack on subframes :P. looks good, definitely seen worse, I do see filler, but not too bad. Definitely worth a crack though. Maybe a good idea to sandblast this, be a real nice base to work with and you will have no rust for years to come! Subframes look solid, which is good. You are going to need a fair few new parts but it will be worth it! Even if you go to sell!

Looks quite a promising project this, besides you've started a project thread so you can't sell it now ;)

I'm no expert but it looks quite solid but there's a few patchy areas, obviously the battery box and front end, if that's the case I'd do what we done and lop the front of then get it blasted, that'll reveal all the hidden rust patches, holes and bodges, I'm no expert though :P

I do love a good mk1 build though, you've gotta do it, I love seeing what my mk1 use to look like to what it does now

Best of luck :)

That's very solid!

Needs a bootfloor, wings, rear quarters, sills and inner sills and maybe floor sections! Very good!

And to add to this it looks like the bottom of the rear bulkhead will need a repair section making. Its quite easy to do as i fabricated a complete lower section for my sons Project Erm.
