Hi,

Due to lack of time I've decided to sell my Domino Pimlico Premier Shell. It has never been on the road and is almost 'as delivered' from the factory. It has the complete hood set (still in the wrapping) and the slide rails etc. The original badges are there, as is the Domino chassis plate. There is also a pair of new Metro door handles and locks. I have an original sales brochure and price list to go with the car.

 

I also have an original Autoplas dashboard that is available for a price.

 

These cars were superbly well made and it's with deep deep regret that I'm selling but someone could have a running car for the summer (if it ever arrives!)

 

I'm looking for around the £1500 (might seem a lot to some but these are very popular cars when up for sale).  Price is negotiable. TMF members have first refusal. Anyone interested just contact me and we can talk money.

 

This is one Mini that won't rust and is a rarity!

Bingo. Thats where the value is....logbook.

 

The one I know of doesnt have a V5, so will need IVA/SVA to put on road. He hasnt been offered anywhere near what he thinks its worth due to the logbook issue.

Location is Wisbech in Cambridgeshire.

 

They shouldn't need an IVA/SVA. I believe they were a Rover licensed 'Bodyswap'

I think it depends on the area, I know a lot of Minus cars that have been 'rebodied' without an IVA. Obviously if the engine is replaced with an R1 etc then its a different matter.

Do you have the conformity paperwork for the body shell? You got these if you obtained the shell as a replacement through Rover.

 

If not then its off to an IVA.

Looks like the earlier shut type due to the rear seat being cut out.
