Ive just fitted my new cable as the old one was held on with tape, but im struggling to see where the cable is supposed to sit etc.
Could people post some pictures of how it's suppposed to sit?

engine end sorry. Thanks. Where does the cable loop round? the bit from the grommet to the clip?

The outer part of the cable gets clamped onto the heat sheild guard bracket ( using mini spares parts.CAM4942 and CZK6491) and passes through a little clamp (mini spares part no.AUE34) that passes through the mixture control lever on the side of the carb. It does 'loop round' anything
