I have a broken IAB connector with 2 cables red/blue wire and black.

The red/blue links to a blanked out part of the mini-tec connector (Do I need it?)

 

I don’t seem to have a knock sensor on the Vti engine harness. (is the yellow/white wire on the mini-tech connector what i need to wire into?) (I presume I need to install and wire up a knock sensor?)

 

Your help would be appreciated!

It depends on what ecu you are running. Is it a standard honda ecu or an aftermarket one?

 

As for the knock sensor, does your block have a knock sensor on it? I've seen some that do and some that don't have the sensor on. Not sure if its a b18 thing.

 

Unfortunately I don't know anything about the minitec harness as i'm running a home-grown loom but i think this thread should be moved to the Honda section, just a suggestion :)
