This is perfect for me. My grandad was a rear gunner in a Lancaster in the war. Granted he wasn't in the dambuster squadron, but he still done I think it's two and a quater tours of duty, as after his first tour they saw his as so valueable to be able to reach new airmen so was stationed on the ground, he last only a few weeks before he requested to be back in the air.

Just as a side note, were you at Peter Baldwins rolling road a few weeks ago with the other RAF minis?

A great tribute. The memorial at Woodhall Spa is very moving. We will remember them, indeed.

My Grandad was a Red Beret in the Parachute regiment in the war, my Uncle Vic Moore was in the RAF Falcons.

Is my friend Brian Watson still involved with Minis in the Royal Air Force.

He bought a white/black rally 970 'S' from my son which my son & I built and has used it in competition. I lost contact with him when he moved from Henlow to Brize.
