Hello! Firstly I'm sorry this probably shouldnt be in Tech and probs but i havent really been in any of the others much.

Had a burst of inspiration last night! For the last few months Ive had the constant annoyance of having a cracked disc on the heater pull\push temp control. The plastic disc (which has the image of a red and blue arrow) was starting to fall out so I decided to do something about it.

I picked out the disc then rummaged around to find something to replace it. I thought a pound coin would be quite cool but didnt have any, then tried a 10p which just fitted in! It looks wicked! I was so pleased I picked out the choke disc aswell and put another 10p in there so now I have 'heads and tails' controls.

Just thought I would share that with you and erge everyone to do something similar so I can say that I started a trend. (Unless its already been done) I'll get some photos for next week and look forward to seeing your photos of simalar items in the controls!

As for the pull out controls, I've done the exact same thing (with local currency), but painted the coin before sticking it on, so had a lovely smiley face on my choke knob.
