standard special arches certainly don't fit on the rear (i tried it today )

They should fit perfectly.

well i couldn't get them to fit the front of the o/s/r was sticking up in the air!

didn't it occur that there might be something wrong with YOU rather than the arches if only one of four didn't fit?

Also you need to check that there were four diferant arches in the set , I have seen boxes with two the same ( IE only three differant arches) and someone taking ages trying to get the odd one to fit

I have bin lookin through my old mini magz and noticed alot of vans estates and pick-ups use sports pak arches and they seem to fit hope this helps every one so dont buy group 5's

I modified some sports pack arches for my clubman estate, I filled the spot in the front and built up fiberglass to match the clubman front end, on the rear, i cut off the nub for the bumper and fiberglassed it. Turned out pretty good!
