Hi all,

So I've partly dismantled my brake master cylinder in order to paint it and renew some seals..

I've got to the point of putting new seals in where the brake fluid reservoir sits into, and found a small thin plate in each hole:

My question: Do these plates need to sit in a specific way in the hole, since they have cut edges, or does it not matter since the inside hole is circular?

Thanks,

Simon.
