This topic is to gauge interest in a summer camping trip. Beer and campfires, and maybe some technical assistance to those of us (me!) who are technically retarded and don't know their way around an engine!

 

Date 18th/19th/20th August (2 nights, the Friday and Saturday)

 

Location - TBC

I'd definitely be interested in this, although i'm not back from travelling around Europe until midway through August, so depends on that mostly!

As for campsites, there was a place that was sort of Norfolk way where i was at a bike meet last year, massive camping field that they let out to us, was cheap too, think it worked out about  £15 a pitch for 2 nights, had full showers and washing up stuffs as well. Plus a bar/restaurant! Let us know if it could be of any use and i'll try and find out some more details.

As for camping, anywhere in the West Country sounds good to me.

I have a caravan site and live on a farm so could make use of a field. It's a CL though so no toilets and roughing it. This is in Sheffield.

One of my close friends also owns a site in mid Wales, who would most likely accept all of us mini owners. That does have all the necessities for a bit of glamping.

Have friend with minis that want to come along aswell so that would be another +2 cars.
