hi ...... i have just had a bit of a crash in my mini .... i have slid in to a kerb and bent somthing but i cant see what.i have hit the kerb with the drivers side wheel and it has bounced up the kerb and hit the inside of the passengers side witch is were the problem is the wheel has moved 2 inch folward and has a slight bit of negative camber i have pulled my carpets back in the foot well to see if the subfram has moved in any way and every thing is fine it is all stright i have replaced the tie rods to and still the same dose any one have any idea what the problem is ?????????

Try and see if tour top arm has stretched, or the pivot pin has bent/cracked, because tie bars will only fit if the bottom arms are the same. When you hit the kerb, the wheel would have pivoted around the bottom arm mount and stretched the top arm. Check your drivetrain. I was jut reading the post to my Dad and realised the passenger wheel has moved, in that case, the top arm must have been squashed or the pin bent/cracked

Thanks for reply i have just ordered a new top arm i have took the top arm and bottem arm off today the top arm pin looks ok i think the top arm is bent i have tried to move the wheel back with the adjustable tie rods but i end up with a lot of castor when the car is on full lock
