Appreciate some help here.  I have a Lucas (ref. 75664F - 14W - 12V 33 79) windscreen wiper motor which I assume is a 1979 build -  much later than my car.

The motor has five wires to it, BLACK.   BROWN/GREEN.   GREEN.   RED/YELLOW.  BLUE GREEN.

I just want to wire it to an early three position light switch so I can get (hopefully) one speed on the first setting and faster on the second.  I can live without auto parking if that is already built in.

There is no loom currently so I just need some advice as to how I can wire it to work independent of any other circuit.

Best regards,

Bob

The motor has five wires to it, BLACK.   BROWN/GREEN.   GREEN.   RED/YELLOW.  BLUE GREEN.

Black is earth/ground.

Brown/Green should actually be Brown/Light Green and is Wiper Parking.

Green is Ignition Live.

Red/Yellow should be Red/Light Green and thats the Normal Speed.

Blue/Green is Second/fast Speed.

Many thanks.

Bob
