I really want to put some viper stripes on my yellow mini. Any ideas of what colour I should go for and any tips on putting them on etc?

I had a green mini with white viper/go faster stripes the whole way across. For a yellow mini I would say black stripes and black wide arches... Nice

I would go Black - but it's your Mini , do what you want

 

take a pic & photo shop it in a colour of your choice

 

a clashing colour may work well

 

if you can do other bits in the same colour - it helps to tie it all together
