Hey guys,

 

how do i tell what size HiF carb i have without stripping the air filter etc off it?

 

what size should be on a 1994 1275? cheers

Original fitment would be an HIF38 which will see you up to around 80bhp without restriction and if you are handy with a dremmel then you can take the flow up enough to handle 85+.

 

If it hasn't got the little metal tag one it with the number then then only defining way is to remove it and measure the throat.

it does have said tin tag, 2 minutes till i go find it,, what numbers do i need to look for?!

The whole number ideally, it's not very long.

 

Type it into google and it should give you the answer, I can't find the bleeding site or I'd link it :P
