Fuel Spewing Out The Overflow?

hey guys , i started my car up last night and on tick over fuel was coming out the overflow :S , now its a pretty fresh rebuild specs are: 1275 , stage 3 head , 276 kent cam , hif 44 with k and n and a stub stack on a mini spares inlet and a bdk needle i think , it been running fine before had it started up for 5 or more times before , but started doing it last night

you running any sort of filter, could be dirt in the float needle

or bang the carb with a big screwdriver handle... might shake the dirt from the needle. I once did it in a hurry in a mini outing to help a stranded mate - it worked!

Sure enough I advised him to look at the carb when he got home!

ive got a inline filter just out of the fuel tank but the carb had been stud a while , cheers guys will give it a strip down later
