Hello everyone.

This is my first post with my first mini so dont be too technical.

I have been doing some research looking for some migilia carbon fibre wheel arches.

Does anyone know the best size Alloys to fit the wheel arches and for driving purposes?

Thanks

10x6.5 force racing wheels with a 3.5 outer dish and 3 inch inner dish will offer best all round looks and performance

If you can't afford the wheels (about 600 for a set) then 6x10 deep dish ultralight wheels will be the next best thing. Or 6x10 mambas from midland wheels, but it you get these search on this forum about midland wheels, a lot of controversy and you have to look after them well.

Also, if you don't have the right brakes for 10" wheels then it will be bloody expensive to go down to them as you'll need to convert to smaller brake size so the wheels clear them
Be sure to measure them first!

Without going into huge detail, yes. (be a good idea to look for the detailed pros and cons that have been listed on the forum, again use the search thingy:P)

Only issue is you need to do a front brake conversion. From the 8.4 disc to the 7.5 disc type brake set up. (this is also heavily described and talked about on here, just use search. Absolutly everything has been covered on what you need to do and change to run 10s)

If you don't go with the 10s ecause of this, personally I wouldn't get miglia arches, they don't suit 13 inch wheels unless modified and just make the car look incredibly high and silly

It's important to remember that you'll need to trim almost all types of Miglia arches to make them fit correctly. In this respect wheel width isn't overly important as you can just trim them down to where they cover the wheel and look good.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I will make sure I have the correct brakes before I do anything. Only problem with the 13 is I think they slow my mini down quite a bit but want to make sure 10" don't look too small?

Had 12's and fitted the arches, the swapped down to 10's.

The only factor in if the arches will fit well or not is if the offset of the wheels are similar.

I've literally just fitted some carbon migs on mine before it left for the paintshop. I'm running 10x6 wellers with 1" spacers all round. The rear also has spaced drums on top of that... Here's a few pics...

Here's mine with Miglia arches and 6x10 Ultralites also with 1 inch spacers. Got some 7x10 force racing splits to go on soon though!
