I'm after a bit of inspiration, I've got a couple of ideas in the bag but I wonder what people have done differently with the fuel filler necks?
Cheers

I found a flush fitting filler cap at a car show a little while ago, it was off some unknown classic.
It was chrome and would've looked the dogs danglies, but I don't really want to fiddle around modifying the tank, not just yet at least.

ive seen a few flush.
Ive also seen different more secure styles with modern style lockable doors on LWB minis

This is one of the ideas I have in mind, and moving it to inside the boot, just like above. But I think I still want something there.
A flush fitting is another idea, but it has to be done right. I saw a couple at Brighton last week the looked so wrong, as the panel is curved and the fittings are flat!

I plan on putting the Aston style one on the exterior on my project, then put a piece of metal behind it blanking it off and moving the actual lockable (not as stylish) filler neck to inside the boot.

Why not just get the Aston type cap that fits over your locking cap?
