greetings guys n girls

 

decided to share my k-series build with you, i had a lot of fun doing this project and it only took me 3 weeks:)

1.4 mpi out of a metro gta on 10" wheels, used to spin up in third, lol. really good fun to build and drive. plans are starting for a silly conversion fro when i've finished my rally car :D

little bit, think the fact the left hand drive shaft was about 8 inches long had something to do with that, lol

That's one fantastic build you've done. I will keep an eye out for it as I work at the tunnels in Wallasey and Birkenhead.

That's one fantastic build you've done. I will keep an eye out for it as I work at the tunnels in Wallasey and Birkenhead.

 

unfortunately she's up in scotland with her new owner :( sold her in 2009.

 

i have a plan for another silly engined one tho when i've finished my rally car ;)

What type of Rally car are you building. I built and raced an RS2000 MKII in 1990 and had to sell it to get married. I did single staged Tarmac events and was a member of the ANWCC and also Aintree circuit club. I did really well and won my class at the New Brighton Prom stages. Here are two pictures of her. I flat fronted the car after a big smash at Oulton Park, The second pic is at New Brighton
