So after getting paid from work I decided to order a few things over the last two weeks from Mini Sport for little Bumble bee! Today the weather was dry so it was about time I got cracking to fit the bits to the mini as it has stayed standard for the 20 month period I have owned it. I always felt it needed something doing as it was plain and boring...but now it is now slowly changing :)

So this is what it looked like before...

And this is what it looks like after... :D

I just love how little modifications change a mini completely. The Cooper S reverse rims give it an older look! The new Yokohama A008's give the car much better handling and it really feels like I am driving a completely different car!

I hope you like the modifications so far and hopefully there are plenty more to come! :)

All comments and opinions welcome! :D

Thank you very much! :). I am hoping to change the grille and get rid of the horrible clear rear lenses (they were on it when I bought it) to mk2 rear lights :)

It would have made more work to be doing it archless as i would need to fill the existing arch holes in and stuff...but other question is how could I have it archless with wide wheels? I haven't used any spacers or anything, just fitted the rims straight over the brake calipers as I didn't need to convert the brake set up to 7.5

i thought you had to change down to cooper s discs for cooper s wheels, i was under the impression only the wheels from minisport and maybe minispares where the only ones to fit over 8.4" discs.....maybe im wrong tho...... ive seen cooper s reverse rims fitted without arches...;o)

cheers james

Ahh okay! I always wanted 10's and was told these fitted over the top which saved me a fair bit of money. I've seen them without arches but not sure how because I havent fitted anything to make it wider, just put them straight on :). I made sure the arches covered the existing holes :)

How have you managed to fill group 2 wides with those 10's ?? Are you running spacers? If so, what size??

Thanks,

Iain.
