I have one with the 1.6 honda engine and one with the 1.6 vvc engine would either of these fit into a mini or have been done? Measured the honda 1.6 and it seems like it would :s any help appreciatex
Jake.

Yipe they should fit, i assume its the b16a2 engine? If you are not sure then look on the front of the engine near where the gearbox and block join. Have a look at some of the build threads on here, either in the rover section or the honda section. Both have been successfully done before

Not too sure on the rover engine, but i plan to do a b16 or a b18 swap myself in the future, they fit really nice and can fit a standard roundnose with some trimming :) i've found this link useful, they sell the subframes for different engines, there is a rover section too but here is the honda section. They even have driveshafts and all the mountings, so all you need is the loom and the engine (and work out the steering/pedals/dials... i havnt got that far yet)

Thank you.
Im not sure what the rover engine is as its at the parents house but the honda is a D16Z2. The subframe seems to be the hardest part of the whole buold and the part im havi g problems with. Dont want to spend thousands.
