a hole inside my rear wheel arch.., is it a hard/expensive area for a pro to fix?

along with
two front wings
two a panels
scuttle
front panel
drivers floor panel
pass door step
guttering
bulkhead repairs

im wondering if its worth it on an 89 car,as i need a pro to weld it so you can guess the price!

Give it a go yourself. The arches can be a pain due to the contours but it does depend on where abouts the hole is exactly???

Do you mean the quarter panel side?? The big problem i have found with arches is its ok to patch in a lot of places but when it starts to go close to the flanges then you may need to think about a half arch replacement. By the sounds of it you have a lot to do anyway so one extra job won't be too harsh.

Shame you are too far away or i would have sorted it for you.

I have just fitted one of these and will do the other soon. The hardest part is getting the old one off without damaging the surrounding panels.

Done both and yep its careful drilling of spot welds time to be honest. The one W.O.E has done is a pain as the boot bracket to seat belt mount is there as well so picking those spot welds up can be tricky.

A bit confused now, is the inner section of the arch or the outer section you have found a hole in??

Yep that's properly rusted through. Hopefully the rust has not travelled up the bulkhead???
