Just some advice, I have finally mastered the machine polisher I G3 and then G10 looks great but show any mark really easy and doesn't seem to be able to wipe the marks of easy.

Is it just that I need to give it a good polish now ?

What sort of paint are we talking about? if its a later car and lacqured then it should not mark that easy? earlier cellouse is softer and can mark but your description seems to say it marks but does not come off easy ?

You have basically stripped off all the protection so you now need to put some back on. Wax's, in my opinion, are old school protection now but do add depth to dark colours. Personally I would seal it and then if you want wax it. Sounds like you have spent a lot a time on it so finish it right;)
