Hi guys i just bought a new sportex Y piece and pipe from Y to back box because the old one was all rusted and blowing out. Just wondering whats the best clamps to use for joining them up to get an airtight seal and do you need to use a sealent or anything to fit them?

Yes some sort of exhaust paste is a good idea and the flat clamps are better than regular exhaust clamps, be careful where the lowest point is for ground clearance.

Are the flat clamps the ones shaped liked a U with two bolts on the end?

Hey kernow I'm going to buy a maniflow system on sat because I'm fed up of sportex being sooo loud and remembered you had a maniflow so I was wondering if you would be able to help me out the one I'm looking at is the middle pipe and backbox centre exit but there's no silencer in the middle pipe do you think this will still be very loud?
