Was looking back through some old photos and found loads of my stepdad and his minis from the 60's - There's loads in there, tells me he's had 4 vans, & 7 Mk1 Coopers (one S).
His first mini, a van bought new in 1963 when he worked for Woolworths, he tells me he had to pay extra for a passenger seat as an option.
His second minivan and canoes from 1964 (he drove down from N Wales to Weymouth with them like this) 
Mini bonnets looked a lot stronger back then
