[Mini Mike]

Hi everyone,

 

My names Mike and i brought my first mini 2 years ago, I've loved every second of it and have so many good memories already. I brought an F plate 998cc Mayfair completely standard with every intention of modifying it. Here are some photos!

The first thing i got for my mini was some 13x7s which i adore.

Then i got a set of Miglia arches and cut them down, I was never happy with the way these arches fitted but learned from trying to fit them!

My Mini was so much fun and i drove it everywhere! it did break down fairly often especially in the rain but will never not be worth it.

I got another set of Miglia arches with a fitting kit which i still have on to this day and a pair of cobra monaco pros so i could sit in it without hitting my head on the cieling!

I have also taken the back seats out and replaced them with a 1200W sub with amplifier and power cap, two 6x9s and two 6 inch component speakers. I'm currently working on a few more modifications as well which are hopefully going to bring this mini closer to the car i want it to be :)

Hi..and welcome to TMF and enjoy your mini ........you will have to keep an eye out on the wheel bearings with those 13x7s    and the ball joints will ware quicker......

Thanks! I got new bearings and ball joints to go in with my new subframe as I'd heard they could be worn. Definitely worth it in my opinion
