I always get asked/complimented on the yellow mini whenever i post pictures of my tatty auto mini... so im making this so i can link to people for when they ask for more.. :L

 

anddd during the time i restored my mini (ona budget!) my brother ammended a thing things on his mini (cylinder head and some rust/respraying...)

i proposed burpy and bertie.... but nope.... yellow one is called louise (no idea why, but it's been that way for about 8 years now...) and i've named my one curtis (it says curtis on his keys) :L

Have you got a photo of the interior of this if it's still the original one (:? I hope mine looks as good as this but in blue!

Just ran down to the garage where the mini is stored (he uses it like once a fortnight if that nowadays ) sorry for the bad pictures...

Only bad point is the ripped seats....but i guess thats because everything in there (apart from the carpets and a new dashboard card thing from l2b) is the stuff that came out of the factory over 30 years ago attached to the car :) 2 owners from new (the other owner was a old man who lived in the same village as us )

 

He will only ever replace the seats for the exact same pattern seats, and since he cant find anyone who makes them new (he hasnt asked a company to make them and probably wont) so unless he finds a good pair second hand they'll stay ripped for a while

Aw, thank you! Very sweet of you to run out and get a photo haha! I'm looking for original seats to put back in mine because someone has put some 90's ones in along the way and wasn't sure which ones they were. I've been told this place http://www.retro-retrims.co.uk/ makes you anything you want just how you want it so it might be worth giving it a try if he does want to have them re done (:. (might be a bit far, my geography isn't the best  )

Yeah i'll tell him to check them out, but birmingham is pretty far ;o hopefully they post i dont think he's in a big rush though haha
