Alright guys got 6months left on my insurance and after this time the mini is getting a 20XE motor. My current A series is on 93k but I have a big valve head for it and a set of twin SUs. just wondering would this cause some bottom end issues in the long run? Not bothered after the 6 months is up but I just want it to last that long.

don't see why it should in my opinion just keep the compression the same
and the revs, don't forget you restricted by the cam

So is there any point of fitting the valve head without a cam kit? Or will i get some sort of power? If not I will just chuck the carbs on and leave it at that

I fitted a big valve and ported head plus a decent filter at 83k miles. I gained loads of power without any issues at all.
