I'm in the process of replacing the bushes on the lower arms and tie bars of my 1989 mini 30. Should I apply some sort of grease to the inside of the sleeves on reassembly to make it easier in the future should they need to come off again?

Will not do any harm, thin smear of copper grease on pins where they pass through the inner sleeves of the std bushes.

Lots of copper grease on all the bits that you want to remove at another time .
