Hi and welcome to the forum. I also have an Mpi which is undergoing a refurb. I don't know of a Mini specialist in N. Wales what do you need doing?

Rack is not difficult to do if you are handy with the spanners. Bodywork can be a bit more challenging. Any pics of the car?

Hi Mark,
Welcome to TMF and Mini ownership!
I'm into MPi Minis in a big way
I also provide restoration services, but am based a little way from you in Warwickshire.
However, I'm sure we could arrange someway of getting your car to us.
Drop me a PM and we'll have a chat and I can send you some details on what we do.
Thanks.

Yeah, there's Welsh Rarebits, Flintshire Mini Owners club, Half Pint Minis (over on the Wales/Shropshire borders near Chirk) and there's also Snowdon Minis. All of them seem to be a friendly bunch.

I live in sunny Llandudno! I think there is a club nearby called welsh rarebits or something... I'll try and look them up I think. Thanks for help and replies

Glad I've ventured into mini ownership already ... people seem keen to help which is great. munkey26 I had a look at you website and I will be looking to get some bodywork done in the near future probably outer sills underneath, heel board drivers side, couple of door skins there is a bit of surface bubbling I think around lamps and panel underneath, scuttle seems ok.. I appreciate anyone would need to view a car to quote but has anyone had a similar re spray and panel replacement programme done recently, i need to start budgeting. I intend to get a good job done using heritage panels. I appreciate it's a bit how long is a piece of string!! Thanks very much for welcoming me everyone. I will try to pm you munkey26 but I'm new to all this forum thing and I haven't got a clue how to pm!
Lol, takes a bit of getting used to but this is one of the easier forums to use.
Depending on what else needs doing / replacing (there's always extra rust that's hidden) you would be looking between £1700 - £2k including a full re-spray and me providing the panels.
Definitely would need to see it for a firm quote - you never know it might be less
