I've got a 1986 city with the 2 clock instrument panel. I don't want to go down the dash board road as I like to keep all my crap on the parcel shelf.

So i'm just wondering how other people have fitted extra clocks. i just bought an oil gauge today and want to get rev counter and maybe others soon too.

Pics and suggestion on a post card please!  :D

I always like the look of a rev counter on the steering column poking through the steering wheel.

Maybe a works style dash just to the right of the steering wheel to put the other gauges, leave plenty of dash room.

Yeah I've seen those pods. Might give that a go.

At the moment I've just cut a hole in a bit of MDF and will fit that to the dash until a better method comes along  :proud:

I've moved the oil pressure gauge to have it in front of the driver in a small pod together with the rev counter and the voltmeter.

I am currently developing my own gauge pod/bracket such as the one Jaydee has posted. I was thinking of a double 52mnemonic and one with a rev counter provision such as the one posted above.

I was also thinking about switch panels to.

I'm doing the golf console too, using smoked gauges so that they're not so noticeable when the engine is off.

Yeah looking good  :proud:

I've now removed my top dash rail and stuck the gauge pod on top of the instrument panel. There's still enough room left on top for another 2 gauges  :D an then another 2 on each side.I'll be gauged up to the eyeballs!
