Boot Hinges?

Hi all just bought some boot hinges but have noticed they are slightly angeld is there a reason for this or are they dodgy ones which way should the fit if there're right they angle either in or out depending which side you put them

I think that they go one way, when i put mine on (secondhand luckly) i just bolted them one then opened boot. It sat up quite abit so i put a little pressure on and snapped one.

 

I bolted them loose to car and tried them several times till i got them right!!

the rear panel's a curve, so they need to be 'bent' opposite to each other incase yours aren't. if you hold them out in front of you and 'hinge' them, you'll work it out...  they dont want to be in or out, but parrellel.   If the boot WAS flat they would be pointing in :thumbsup:

They will be handed, have a look on the inside of them they should be a mark.
