what size socket to remove the oil pressure warning switch please?

The last one I had was circular, with a hexagon hehind the main body, for which you need an open ended spanner. As far as I recall it was 9/16" AF.

Could be anything depending if OEM/Chinese/Japanese/HairyKnees....

 

Why not measure it?
