I've recently fitted new discs and pads to my mini. There 8.4's. when the car has almost stopped the brakes start squealing horrendously. There fine if braking hard but light braking will make them squeal. I applied copper copper grease on the backs when fitting. What else could be causing this because its annoying. The brakes work fine and don't pull either thanks

The anti rattle plate is there for a reason. Try fitting one, also sparingly use copper grease on the metal edges of the pads where they come into contact with the internal body of the calliper. Clean off all traces of brake dust too.
