Hey everyone!

What can I say? I am a car mad lady, grown up around many cars so it was inevitable that I would become car mad, especially classics. My partner has always wanted a mini so when the opportunity popped up he finally got his childhood dream. Unfortunately though, it stoked my passion for classic cars even more, so I had to get my own because he was sick of me running off with his. So here's my little man... Attached File  V__CF84.jpg   43.13K   18 downloads only had him 2 weeks...my little daughter is looking forward to going to school in him, she's mini mad in the making!

Unfortunately he needs some work, rust around headlights, small bubbling on a-panel, doors, slight dented boot, etc. Previous owner has took out the rear leather seat and replaced with a brown cloth, cigarette burnt and mouldy smelling one.  Fortunately though, its had a lot spent on the engine, suspension etc. so not too many problems.

Looking forward to browsing the topics, asking and reading advice and generally chatting to you all!

Welcome to the forum....

I hope we can all help with any questions you might have.

Has the min got a name? They nearly always behave if you name them!!!

Sounds ideal, a car which is mechanically sound and only needs a bit of tidying. I'm sure you'll be able to find a replacement rear seat n the classified on here if you keep your eyes peeled.

Best of luck and happy tinkering.

mine is Arthur and my partner's is Betty. Funny story actually, i believe they do behave when you name them. My partners was giving him trouble, cutting out when slowly down, immobiliser stops and starts working, etc i get in "Betty" and drive, no problems at all. She just needs a little a respect. LOL

Thank you for the warm welcomes everyone. X
