Just put new slave cylinders and brake shoes on the front of my mini.  Cant find anything anywhere about bedding them in.

Do you just take it easy on the pedal for a few hundred miles or is there a more specific approach?

Yes thats about right, there will be high spots in the material which will wear in over the next few hundred miles, quick de-dust and readjust will sort it

I dont see any need to take it easy, just drive as normal and let them bed in. Once bedded in re-adjust

Back int he day you used to be able to get your shoes arced to fit the drums so they were pre bedded/shaped, cant get it done now though.

The reason is why you take it easy is the high spots on the lining material and the brakes with new linings wont be as efficient, and the same with brake pads you bed them in
