Hey guys , my alt light wont come on and im stuck i dont know why , ive swapped the bulbs with the oil pressure and and it hasnt worked , ive mesured the 3 cables when i take the plug off the alt i get 12v on all but when i plug it on the alternator on the small wire i only get around 1.4 v now its doing my head as it was working earlyer and to add when its running i get 12v on the thin wire

Cheers bud , i got my lights mixed up its the oil pressure light i carnt get come on

Disconnect the wire at the sensor and short it to earth. If it still doesn't light its the bulb or wiring.

Sorted there was a crack in the circuit on the back of the board where te plug goes
