The clutch pedal goes around half way easy but has to be forced the rest of the way

You dont say what system you have or car details ? Verto/non Verto? and did it go like it suddenly or has it been standing ?

Seized pivot/shaft out at the base of the clutch lever which throws the release bearing in the alloy clutch cover (Wok), or a faulty slave / master cylinder, connect a bleed pipe the the slave and try and bleed the system, if the pedal goes down all the way ok its not a master cylinder, Pull the rubber back on the slave is there any signs of rust marks? now slowly push the pedal down if its free then its not hydraulic components and now its time to look at the above mentioned shaft in the clutch cover.

Could even be as simple as a seizing pedal bush ?

Not sure on what clutch, it's an 88 designer and recently had a full clutch kit fitted around 5 months ago. It's been stood around 2 weeks driven once but had no trouble before

Could it need bleeding?

Bleeding wont solve the tightness to push down fully, follow through on the above checks and you should find the issue.

My mum said there's nothing wrong with it, could it because I haven't driven it in around 3-4 weeks and I've been having lessons in a brand new car so I've got used to the easy clutch? How hard would it be in comparison
