ive got a grinding noise coming from the front right wheel when i turn hard right. it only started since i got my mechanic to fit my spacers and longer studs. i was watching him fit the last one (the one thats making the noise) and the lad started to undo the hub when another guy said to just take them out and knock  them in with a windy chisel. do you think this has disturbed the bearing or c.v joint and thats whats causing the noise?

It could be the wheel catching the arch on full lock

checked all that cant see any signs of it. also wouldnt it be rubbing on the left hand side when i do the same just had all new cones knuckles and shockers fitted so both sides are level. also just googled it and it should of been torqued up and he just used a windy gun he kept trying it to line the hole up for the split pin

Scary!

Jack it up and check the bearings for play and roughness

I think as said take the wheel off and check everything. Check the ball joints are tight and also the hub nut. Make sure the caliper is tight as well.
