What type of primer is it and did it do it on first or 2nd coat, as if its on 2nd coat you maybe overcoating before its flashed off and the thinner from 2nd coat is softening first coat. I recently used some upol high 5 and it did this very easily. Or you could just be applying it to thick as this is also common with high solvent paint.

Sounds exactly what I did with it, just flat it with p320 dry until all flat, a guide coat will help with this then apply a few more coats but lighter coats and make sure it has flashed off properly before over coating. It was first time I had used an aerosol and I can only think it because of the amount of thinner to make it spray as you just can't put a heavy coat on like you can with a spraygun but after I had changed my technique it was fine. It does sand nice though once fully cured but at £12 a can Dont think I would use it on large repairs.

I would put less thinners in next time and make sure fully flashed off before over coating but I am still learning myself so maybe others might have further advice. Hope it works out for you.
