I recently removed my standard mirrors and fitted some classic style ital mirrors, they look great but on the passengers side, i have a couple of blind spots.

I thought I could fix it by using a overtaking mirror. I have a rectangle one, which attaches to the seam but it is next to useless.

Any recommendations?

how about those round drop style ones?

The best thing to get rid of blind spots is a bit of rubber necking

Make yourself a set of mounts/plinths, to go between the door and the mirror. That way you can raise and rotate them to suit, I just used a block of alloy and cut and filed it to suit........

I am not sure how neat I would be able to make that. I like how the mirrors fit at the moment.

Your problem is that you're using on the passenger side, those mirrors that are meant to be for the driver side, so the only solution is to do what dilligaf said.

Heres a overtaking mirror by the way

Makes sense since it is an overtaking mirror! But there must be a mirror on the market which would work.
