When i purchased my 1275gt it had the magnolia type instrument clusters which worked fine. I purchased the original type old skool smiths ones which were originally fitted. For some reason theough when swapping them the rev counter on the smiths ones does not work. Is there a reason for this?

Does it say RVI or RVC on the front of the tacho? What age 1275GT is it?

Being restored at min so i'll look when i get a chance but it's a 1974 model
