I'd love to get every thing reground but i'm on a bit of a budget and I'm trying not to go over the top (trying to get away without doing any machining to be honest)

Get a micrometer round the journals, measuer the diameter @ 90 degree angles to check for ovality, anything more than a couple of thou undersize then a regrind is recommended, unless you want you engine loose, but this will require regular rebuilding.

Journal sizes - Main 2" std, Big end 1.75" std
