My 1989 Mini 30 has developed a squeak (*see footnote) in the front suspension. What is strange is that it only appears after driving about 10 miles or so. First it starts without the squak and it reches it max progressively after that drive.
After driving it, if I stand on the door sills and bounce the suspension, it seems like the squeking comes from the right side.
I wonder if it may be just a lubrication issue.
Thanks
* Footnote: English is not my native tongue, so I'm not sure if squeking is the proper term. It's not a high pitched sound. it's more like "crcrcrcrcr",but not a knock. I can feel it on the steering wheel while driving over road irregularities, but it's more when the suspension travels up-down than when moving the steering (sorry for not being able to explain it clearly).
