Hi there. Just brought a standard 1275 rover mini. think the fuel mixture is running rather rich how do I change it. I think it's a screw at the bottom of the carb but not sure?

What year is your Rover Mini ? its possible its got a HIF Carb on it and they have a screw in the side of the carb below the fuel inlet pipe at the back, if so in richens the mixture and out weakens the mixture, where as the earlier type HS series has a large nut on the jet assemley and up was weaken and down richen.

Before making any adjustments though always check Tappets, Timing and Air Cleaner.

HIF has the float bowl under the carb HS has the float bowl on one side of the carb
