Running Really Rough

Check any vac pipes going to the ECU (I think the SPI has them?) if those are leaking then it can play havoc with the running of the engine from what I have heard (im a carby guy but I have seen a few injection posts on here over the years)

bought a mini cooper spi age 1992 bit tatty running ok bought a radio then found out alternator was not chargeing so put a new one on ran car for about twenty min left it for about three hours then had to go out so jumpt in mini and it was running like some one had just turned the car upside down and dropped it so i parked it up and the next day spoked to a mate of mine who spoke to some one else and thay said just change plugs ht leads dissy cap and roter arm this as made know diff whatsoever hope this gets to the right person from bloke in midlife muddle thanks ian
