Hi, I just tried to spray paint the manifold LKC10090 with some Motip Heat resistant up to 800 celcius, so far looks ok 8), but now I am about to setup a new exhaust pipe stage kit 1 from Minispares the C-AEG371 downpipe and linkpipe, my question is then if it would be any good to paint the downpipe and link pipe also, i'm thinking to protect some from rust. Last year I setup a complete exhaust system from Maniflow and to my bad experience I had see that already after less than a year the exhaust parts look terrible, full of rust and I was wondering then, if it could help spray-painting the new parts before use.

Any one have any experience about this matter?

Clean it thoroughly with acetone and silicone remover, then paint it with BBQ paint or the high temp paint of your choice.

It will last better through the years
