I have been having a go at making some stabiliser arms from some billet alloy and am just seeing if anyone has any ideas about what i could have a go at making. I can get a hold of some 2" thick alloy.

A really 'trick' pencil sharpener.
Highly expensive cutlery set.
A tray for resting biscuits on,
A bowl for unwanted cat collar bells.
Oh! and an unfeasibly impractical microwave dish for reheating individual spoonfuls of last night's special egg fried rice.....

You can make almost anything non structural just take care that metal is not put in direct contact with mild steel
