minispeed flip front hinges

hi any one fitted the flip front hinges from minispeed they have pre drilled holes but i can not
see were they go driving me mad £40 and if they dont work are they gonna get a slating
of me any picks would be good cheers

Not sure exactly what you mean? If your asking where they mount on to the subframe or flipfront then you have to drill the fixing holes yourself.

you mean these? they go on the front of the subframe, and the curved bit goes on the inside of the valance

same place simler design but the ones i got are straight with a bigger pin and a nyloc nut on the end
i could bend it like that cheers

i think you got the same as me! bought my whole front from them (2 piece front brace bars and hinges) i must say that they are C**p had to bend them in to the curve which was a bugger! i attached them to the front subby, the 3 holes across are for my sump guard

just done that my self load of ##=:thumbsup: they are. but now ive that fix the the short
one to the sub frame bent the long one to fit in side the valance when i lift it froward
the valance binds on the tie bar mounts so it only lifts a few inchs do i have to cut the valance a bit

i.ve angled mine slightly so it just clears the tie bar mounts, but yes i did trim abit of the lip off. what i want to know is why they are showing curved hinges and selling straight ones! it really is a bugger to line it up yourself! think i'd buy from minispares next time, bugger the cost, as long as it does cause as much hassle as the minispeed ones did! check my project 1989 mini something........ on the project page got some progress pics if you want to see what i did.
