Has anyone had experience trying to get a mini rolling with the hydrolastic suspension leaking? It just needs to roll about 10 meters.
Any ideas appreciated

Well that's the thing, the suspension is so low that the wheels are rubbing on the arches and can't roll as it is. I was thinking of fashioning some kind of solid damper temporarily to lift the arches off the wheels..

I seem to remember someone saying to pump it up with air.

Yes I did in a previous post, unless the leaks that bad it wont hold any pressure if so then make some wood stays to insert to get some clearance

Yes I think the leak is too bad to hold air for any useful amount of time. I'll have a go at some wood supports for now. Thanks guys

I'll add bumps stops to the shopping list, I'll be needing some in the future anyway as I'm keeping the wet suspension

Jack the car up, and wedge some strips of wood between the bump stops and the subframes.
It will roll then - you will only need about 1/2 an inch.

I assume that either you have larger than original wheels, or the bump stops have failed, because you were specifically allowed to drive a hydrolastic Mini, at 20 mph (if I remember correctly), as far as a garage if the system had lost pressure on one or both sides. That was basically running on the bump stops.
The advice given by jenbachertech is correct, just improvise some dummy bump stops.
