Yep, the engine is no more.... I think it may have turned it's last RPM...
Did a quick check over this morning, and all I get is a rather ominous mechanical thud..... judging by the reports of large flame and black smoke from the pipe, I think I've dropped a piston or two...
Oh well.... it's done good service, so will be building a new engine for the 1/4 mile, which was the plan anyway. Class B here I come !

Hmmmm, thats not great for an engine that you built about a year ago (if I'm thinking of the right engine?)

bearing in mind I cooked it well and truely on Thursday when the fan dissintegrated, is not unexpected....

IT'S ALIVE....
turned out to be a totally fubar'd ignition system, new dizzy cap and rotor, and all sorted....
